Artists at NW Marine Art Works are opening their studio doors on December 7th and 8th for its annual Open Studios + Holiday Market. This one of a kind event provides the opportunity to visit the studios where art is created and shop directly from makers this holiday season. Guests will have the opportunity to see artists at work, watch engaging demos, talk with makers and check out the spaces where some of Portland’s best art is created.

With more than 70 local artists and artisans participating, visitors will find everything from jewelry and apparel to paintings and printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, accessories and housewares — it’s all here.  Artists from North Coast Seed Building, Carton Service Building and River St Studios will be joining us to show and sell their work as well.

Visitors can listen to live music and enjoy food and drink while watching artists demonstrate their skills and process. You won’t want to miss this vibrant event that embodies Portland’s creative spirit.

Warm drinks will be available to ease the chill, but this is a large, industrial building, so be sure to bundle up.
